This project is a Multiplayer DLC mini-golf game with zombie hordes as obstacles
With exosuits and giant clubs, you can smash beach-ball-sized metal balls hard enough to obliterate any zombies in your way.
As a level designer, I created or modified a total of nine putting holes during the week-long sprint, and six of those holes shipped with this DLC.
Each hole was created by layering modular green pieces & props over rooftops or interiors from Dead Rising 4 campaign levels.
My sprint efforts led to five playable holes from scratch: Pirate’s Refuge Hole 3, The Industrial Zone Hole 1, Landmark Lanes Hole 2, as well as two holes that didn’t ship.
I also reworked segments of four at-risk, longer holes from previous passes to reach the team’s target number of putting holes during this sprint.
After completing the Frank Rising DLC, myself and one other level designer split our time to adjust & maintain all 24 holes to align with final golf club tuning values.
We requested additional help to finalize these courses when deadlines shifted closer.
I took on additional responsibilities for this DLC
- Polishing the out of bounds volumes
- Implementing all desk commentator cinematics
- Placing all zombies
- Workflow Documentation for all 4 level designers to update placement of Zenny and Ball Busters
